La Volta Italiano is an authentic Italian Restaurant, owned and operated by noted Raleigh restaurateur Mario Longo. Our Executive Chef is Vincenzo Doria. La Volta Italiano is about Italian cooking using time-tested recipes handed down for generations and fresh local ingredients.
La Volta Italiano is not a chain restaurant, but one-of-a-kind, focused on providing you with great meals at reasonable prices in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
La Volta Italiano means "vault," so named because the restaurant space once housed a bank.
The vault still exists, which serves as our wine room.

Lunch reservations are not necessary unless you have a party of six or more, or you need special service.
